pack light pack right
When you go to camp, you get a list of what to bring, or when you go on vacation, you make a list of what to pack. As we begin to prepare to leave, what are you packing in your suitcase? What are you bringing that shouldn’t be on the list?
I’m not talking about the natural items, your bed, a TV, clothes, etc, I’m talking about the things only you know about.
What are you packing:
1. Unresolved issues with people?
2. Hurts & bitterness from the past?
3. Debt & financial issues?
4. Expectations of position?
5. Unforgiveness?
6. Lack of unity?
7. Secret sins?
8. Insecurities, doubts, & fears?
9. Lack of trust in leadership
10. Condemnation & guilt
11. Greed or thoughts of “what’s in it for me?”
12. Lack of motivation or denial?
THE MOST ESSENTIAL ITEMS TO PACK ARE THE FOLLOWING:
the spiritual weapons of our warfare
Eph 6:10-13
“…Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground… ”
